Dr. Scott Cruse is a chiropractor and movement specialist with a clear philosophy: structure dictates function. When the body is properly aligned and stabilized, everything works better.
At Dead Bug Rehab, Dr. Cruse focuses on restoring biomechanical stability through precise joint positioning, soft tissue management, and functional movement. This approach improves nerve function, organ health, physical performance, and the body’s ability to recover and adapt over time. The goal is not just pain relief, but long-term resilience and better movement for life.
Dr. Cruse earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Illinois State University before completing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Early in his career, he trained extensively in Chiropractic Biophysics, a research and engineering-based approach to posture, spinal alignment, and structural stability.
That foundation shaped his philosophy: structure dictates function. When the body is properly aligned and stabilized, movement improves, recovery becomes more efficient, and performance becomes more sustainable.
For more than fifteen years, Dr. Cruse has applied these principles to help patients and clients move better, recover faster, and build long-term resilience.

Across all ages, professions, and performance levels, Dr. Scott sees the same issue again and again: most people are not starting from proper structural alignment.
When structure is off, the body compensates. Movement becomes less efficient, stress builds in the wrong places, and progress becomes harder to sustain.
Dead Bug Rehab starts by identifying where the body is today, then addressing structure first. This removes the guesswork and creates a stronger foundation for recovery, movement, and performance.
Dead Bug Rehab was created to provide a more focused and intentional approach to recovery, movement, and performance.
This is not mass-market training or one-size-fits-all rehab. Every client begins with a clear baseline, because the way the body moves, stabilizes, and recovers should not be guessed.
DBR combines advanced assessment, clinical expertise, specialized equipment, and individualized coaching to help clients rebuild, refine, and recover with intention.
Sessions are private, focused, and appointment-only. The goal is simple: help people move well, train smarter, recover better, and perform longer.
Sessions are private, focused, and appointment-only. Programming is tailored to the individual and may include core activation, structural stabilization, soft tissue work, and recovery tools such as red light therapy and sauna.
Clients often notice improved strength, better movement, faster recovery, and increased energy within the first few sessions. More importantly, they leave with a clear understanding of how their body works and how to maintain it.
Dead Bug Rehab combines advanced assessment, specialized equipment, and clinical expertise rarely found in traditional gyms or recovery studios.
Core stability sits at the center of everything. Nearly every movement in the body depends on it, yet for most people it is the weakest and least trained system. Dead Bug addresses stability first so strength, movement, and performance can follow safely and effectively.
“Structure always comes first. When the body is positioned correctly, everything else works better.”
“This isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing the right things, the right way.”
“One session doesn’t change everything. Education and consistency are what create real results.”
Dr. Cruse built Dead Bug Rehab to raise the standard for training and recovery. His vision is to educate clients, restore structure, and give people the tools they need to move well, train smarter, and perform better long-term.
Dead Bug Rehab is a private, appointment-only experience designed for individuals who want a smarter, more intentional approach to training and recovery.
